Brian Fallon, the press secretary for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, tweeted Saturday about the presidential debates, the first of which is about one month away.

Fallon tweeted that Republican nominee Donald Trump’s “showmanship as an ex-TV star” makes him “a formidable debate foe.”

Fallon was also quoted in a Washington Post article published Saturday about debate preparation in both campaigns.

{mosads}Fallon told the Post that Clinton is preparing for Trump’s unpredictability.

“I think [Clinton] will approach the debate with a great deal of seriousness and a sense of purpose, and also keenly aware that Donald Trump is capable of anything,” he said.

The first debate will take place at Hofstra University outside New York City on Sept. 26. It is likely to be one of the highest-rated television events of the year.

The nominees are scheduled to debate twice more in October.

Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham may play the role of Clinton in Trump’s debate prep, the Post reported.
