Clinton camp asks which tweets Trump will discuss with Mexican president
Hillary Clinton’s campaign is hoping that Donald Trump’s frequent social media criticisms of Mexico come up when the Republican presidential nominee meets with the Mexican president Wednesday.
Clinton’s team compiled a list of Trump tweets about Mexico, hours before Trump is slated to meet with President Enrique Pena Nieto in Mexico City.
{mosads}”Donald Trump is about to meet the president of Mexico,” Clinton’s campaign wrote on its website. “Which of these tweets might they discuss?”
The campaign mocked Trump’s speaking style, describing the list as “a big, beautiful list of tweets.”
“After all, Trump announced his campaign for president by calling Mexican immigrants ‘rapists’ and criminals (‘and some, I assume, are good people,’ he added generously),” the campaign said.
“Trump has been publicly disparaging Mexican immigrants — and the entire nation of Mexico — for years. And years. And years.”
The compiled tweets touch on several topics, including trade, immigration and building a wall along the southern border.
Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, on Wednesday tweeted out a link to the list.
A big, beautiful list of literally every tweet Donald Trump has sent about Mexico over the last two years. https://t.co/WCKL7oNdpg

Trump is heading to Mexico hours before giving a major address on immigration in Phoenix, Ariz. He was invited to Mexico to discuss ideas by Pena Nieto.
The Clinton campaign on Tuesday criticized Trump’s trip, saying it matters what “Trump says to voters in Arizona, not Mexico, and whether he remains committed to the splitting up of families and deportation of millions.”
