Donald Trump’s campaign hammered Democratic rival Hillary Clinton Friday for showing “tremendously bad judgment” in a statement pegged to the release of notes from the FBI’s investigation into her use of private email while at the State Department.

{mosads}“Hillary Clinton is applying for a job that begins each day with a Top Secret intelligence briefing, and the notes from her FBI interview reinforce her tremendously bad judgment and dishonesty,” spokesman Jason Miller said in a statement emailed to reporters.

“Clinton’s secret email server was an end run around government transparency laws that wound up jeopardizing our national security and sensitive diplomatic efforts.”

The statement notes the more than 2,000 emails on her private server that contained classified information and accused her of setting up the system to conceal “rampant conflicts of interest and a pay-to-play culture that rewarded Clinton Foundation donors with access and favors.”

“Clinton’s reckless conduct and dishonest attempts to avoid accountability show she cannot be trusted with the presidency and its chief obligation as commander-in-chief of the U.S. armed forces,” Miller added.

Trump and his campaign have repeatedly thrust the email issue into the spotlight in the hopes of framing Clinton as unfit to serve. He’s also seized on the recent trickle of information from her family foundation to accuse her of favoring foundation donors, charges the Clinton campaign has denied.
