Latino House Dem mockingly tweets photo of ‘cultural dominance’ at taco truck
Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) on Friday shared a photo from a taco truck, mocking a Latinos for Trump founder who on Thursday warned there would be “taco trucks on every corner” if illegal immigration was not curbed.
“About to assert my cultural dominance,” the Latino Dem tweeted in front of a taco truck called “La Frontera” — which translates to “the border.”

Marco Gutierrez, founder of Latinos for Trump, appeared on MSNBC on Thursday night to defend GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s immigration proposals.
“We need to understand that this is different times. We have problems here. We need reform,” Gutierrez said.
“My culture is a very dominant culture, and it’s imposing, and it’s causing problems. If you don’t do something about it, you’re going to have taco trucks on every corner.”
{mosads}The comment quickly sparked a trending hashtag, #TacoTrucksonEveryCorner.
Gutierrez’ comments came following Donald Trump’s much-anticipated immigration speech Wednesday, where he forcefully laid out a 10-point policy, vowing to build a border and warning that anyone in the country illegally could be deported.
In a series of tweets, Gallego quipped about “dominating” and then finally, with a photo of his empty plate tweeted: “Cultural dominance complete!”
