Trump says he eats fast food because ‘at least you know’ what’s in it

Donald Trump says he likes fast food because “at least you know what they are putting in it.”

{mosads}Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, made the comment Wednesday during a taping of “The Dr. Oz Show,” where he discussed the results of a recent physical examination.

According to Bloomberg Politics, Trump has slightly high cholesterol levels and is considered overweight, but Oz told him he didn’t see anything worrisome in the results.

Trump has a body-mass index (BMI) of 30, according to Bloomberg.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says a BMI of 30 and above qualifies as obese.

Trump told Oz he would like to lose 15 to 20 pounds, Bloomberg reports.

Democrats have begun to make an issue of Trump’s weight amid the scrutiny of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s health. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Tuesday said Trump is not “slim and trim.”
