Ivanka Trump to meet with lawmakers on Capitol Hill
Ivanka Trump will meet with female Republican lawmakers on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, according to Politico.
{mosads}The daughter of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump will meet with more than a dozen GOP women in the Senate and House to talk about her father’s new childcare policy platform.
She will also hear from women in Congress about their proposals related to women and family issues.
It’s part of a policy roundtable hosted by Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.).
Donald Trump last week unveiled his childcare plan, which would allow individuals earning up to $250,000 to deduct expenses for the care of up to four children.
The plan would also guarantee six weeks of paid maternity leave.
