Trump supporter muses about deaths of Clinton, Abedin
Conservative pundit Wayne Allyn Root spun a yarn Sunday about Hillary Clinton and one of her longtime aides, Huma Abedin dying.
Speaking at a Las Vegas campaign rally for Republican nominee Donald Trump, Root referenced the letter FBI Director James Comey sent to lawmakers Friday. In the letter, Comey said the FBI found additional emails that may be pertinent to the investigation into Clinton’s use of a private server while she was secretary of State.
{mosads}”All the networks have coverage of a live police chase and it’s Hillary in a white Ford Bronco. She’s got Huma driving and they’re heading for the Mexican border,” said Root, making a reference to the famous O.J. Simpson police chase.
“And the ending, if we all get our wish, the ending is like Thelma and Louise,” he said, referencing the movie at the end of which the two main characters drive off of a cliff.
Mediaite posted video of Root’s remarks to the Trump rally, in which he also talked up the GOP nominee’s campaign and called him “a middle finger to Washington, D.C.,” and “the people in power.”
Root also thanked former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) during his speech, a reference to the 650,000 emails on his laptop that will be searched for anything related to the FBI probe of Clinton’s server.
Weiner is the estranged husband of Abedin and was being investigated for sending sexually explicit messages to a 15-year-old.
