Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has a 7-point lead over Republican Donald Trump among likely voters in Virginia, 45 percent to 38 percent, according to a Roanoke College poll released Friday.
{mosads}Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson has the support of 5 percent of likely Virginia voters, and Green Party nominee Jill Stein is backed by 2 percent.
Another 9 percent of likely voters in the state are undecided.
Clinton’s lead has decreased slightly from a poll taken in early October, when the Democratic nominee led her Republican rival by 9 points, 45 to 36 percent.
Clinton is viewed favorably by 40 percent of respondents and unfavorably by 47 percent, while Trump is viewed favorably by just 25 percent of voters and unfavorably by 58 percent.
The poll also finds 69 percent of respondents think Clinton is either very or somewhat qualified to serve in the White House.
Only 42 percent say the same of Trump.
The poll was conducted from Oct. 29 to Nov. 1 among 654 likely voters in Virginia; its margin of error is 3.8 percentage points.
The recent poll was conducted after FBI Director James Comey announced the bureau would be reviewing newly discovered emails “pertinent” to its investigation into Clinton’s use of a private server while secretary of State.
According to the RealClearPolitics average of polls in the state, Clinton has a 4.7-point lead over Trump, 47 to 42.3 percent.
