Poll: Clinton has 6-point lead in Colorado

Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 6 points in Colorado, according to a new poll released Friday.

{mosads}Clinton (D) has 44 percent support among likely voters to Trump’s (R) 38 percent, the Magellan Strategies poll found.

Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson has 7 percent, and Green Party nominee Jill Stein 2 percent.

Clinton has a 17-point edge among women, and Trump leads by 5 points among men, the poll said.

And Clinton has the support of 87 percent of Democrats while Trump is backed by 82 percent of Republicans.

Clinton also leads big among voters under 44 years old. Trump has a narrow edge among voters between 45 and 54 years old and a large lead among voters older than 65.

The poll was conducted Nov. 1–2 among 500 likely voters in Colorado. The margin of error is 4.38 percentage points.
