Trump: FBI won’t let Clinton get away with crimes

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said Sunday that the FBI will not let Hillary Clinton “get away with her terrible crimes.”

{mosads}”Right now she is being protected by a rigged system. It’s a totally rigged system,” Trump said Sunday evening during a rally in Sterling Heights, Mich.

“You can’t review 650,000 emails in eight days. You can’t do it folks,” Trump added, referencing the additional emails the FBI recently said it discovered that were “pertinent” to its initial investigation of Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of State.

Trump’s comments were met with the usual “lock her up” chants from the crowd.

Earlier Sunday, FBI Director James Comey announced that the bureau would not change the conclusion to its investigation it reached in July. The emails the FBI recently discovered were reportedly mostly duplicates of material already investigated, according to NBC.

But Trump questioned the speed of the latest round of scrutiny and said the Democratic nominee is not in the clear yet.

“The investigations into her crimes will go on for a long time,” Trump said.

“It’s unbelievable, unbelievable, what she gets away with.”

Trump then turned to his usual talking points, comparing Clinton to Gen. David Petraeus, the former director of the Central Intelligence Agency who was fined and sentenced to two years probation for leaking classified information.
