Poll: Clinton has double-digit lead in NH

Hillary Clinton holds a double-digit lead over Donald Trump in New Hampshire, according to a new University of New Hampshire Survey Center poll.

{mosads}Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, is backed by 49 percent of likely voters, and Trump, the GOP nominee, is favored by 38 percent.

Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson has the support of 6 percent of voters, and Green Party nominee Jill Stein is backed by 1 percent.

Another 4 percent are undecided.

In the state’s Senate race, Gov. Maggie Hassan (D) leads Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R), 49 percent to 45 percent.

The survey was conducted from Nov. 3 to 6 among 707 likely voters. The margin of error is 3.7 percentage points.

According to the RealClearPolitics average of state polling, Trump has a 1.6-point lead over his Democratic rival in New Hampshire.

Several recent polls conducted in New Hampshire have shown either a tie between both candidates or Trump with an advantage.

In the Senate race, Ayotte has a 2-point lead, according to the RealClearPolitics average of polls.
