Conway: Trump listened to the people

Donald Trump’s campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, said Wednesday that the billionaire’s surprise win should teach politicians to  listen to the people.

{mosads}”If I could take one thing away from this and one small piece of unsolicited advice for all of us, for everyone, [you’ve] got to listen to the people,” she said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

“Listen less to each other and listen to the people. They have incredible stories. There’s a great essential goodness in America. And people are wise. And they care about each other and they care about this country,” she added.

“He tapped into that the whole time he was being criticized and dumped on frankly by everyone. He was listening to the people.”

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton conceded to Trump in the early hours of Wednesday morning. After receiving the congratulatory call, Trump spoke at of unity at this election party, telling the country he wanted to be a president for all Americans.
