President-elect Donald Trump took to Twitter to criticize the hundreds of protesters who have flooded streets around the country since his win.

{mosads}“Just had a very open and successful presidential election. Now professional protestors, incited by the media, are protesting,” he tweeted Thursday.

Protesters demonstrated across the country in the days following Trump’s upset over Hillary Clinton. In New York City, protestors marched toward Trump Tower on Wednesday night chanting “not my president.”

At rallies throughout his campaign, Trump repeatedly insisted protesters at his events were paid by his rival’s campaign.

Trump also repeated this claim during the third presidential debate, referring to a video by conservative activist James O’Keefe.

“If you look at what came out today, on the clips, where I was wondering what happened with my rally in Chicago and other rallies where we had such violence. She’s the one, and Obama, that caused the violence,” he said. “They hired people — they paid them $1,500, and they’re on tape saying be violent, cause fights, do bad things.”

Following Trump’s tweet on Thursday night, many resurfaced Trump’s tweet following President Obama’s reelection in 2012. Trump called on people to “march on Washington” to protest the results.
