A top aide to President-elect Donald Trump says both Steve Bannon and Reince Priebus will serve in his future administration.

“It tells you a great deal about President Trump that both of those men are to have important roles or senior roles in this administration,” campaign manager Kellyanne Conway told host Chris Wallace on Fox News’s “Fox News Sunday.”

{mosads}“President-elect Trump will rely on them and a cadre of other supporters,” she added of Bannon, Trump’s presidential campaign CEO, and Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee.

Reports emerged last week that Trump is weighing both Bannon and Priebus as his potential White House chief of staff.

Conway on Sunday refused comment on when a final decision would become public knowledge, however.

“Imminent means happening soon,” she said of her recent remarks that the judgment call was happening quickly. “That timeline and that choice belongs to one man.”

Conway added that Trump’s administration would feature a mix of political outsiders and seasoned public service veterans.

“You can’t just appoint novices. You have to have people who know what they’re doing. This is an administration that is going to run very differently than typical Washington.”
