Senate candidate jumps the gun on Supreme Court ruling on healthcare law

{mosads}Mourdock, a Tea Party favorite who beat Sen. Dick Lugar (R-Ind.) in a May primary, is locked in a tight race with Rep. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.).

His spokesman laughed off the early posting.

“Like the vast majority of Hoosiers, Richard hopes the Supreme Court strikes down ObamaCare, which our opponent Joe Donnelly dutifully supported,” said Mourdock spokesman Christopher Conner. “But as the Boy Scouts say, ‘be prepared.’ “

The court could have announced its ruling Thursday but did not. It’s now likely to be announced on Monday or later next week.
