Rubio hosting Miami fundraiser for Cotton
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is hosting a fundraiser for Rep. Tom Cotton’s (R-Ark.) Senate campaign in Miami, the latest help Rubio has provided to Cotton’s campaign.
The senator will host a breakfast for Cotton at a popular Cuban restaurant in Miami on Monday, with the minimum contribution suggested at $500.
Rubio’s leadership PAC is already spending heavily to help Cotton in his race against Sen. Mark Pryor (D-Ark.), airing ads touting Cotton’s military background. The ads are the first major effort to help a 2014 candidate from the group.
The Miami Herald first reported the fundraiser.
