Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) has endorsed former Georgia Secretary of State Karen Handel (R), giving her a potential boost in her crowded Senate primary.
{mosads}”This year’s elections are about who we send to Washington to help restore our country after six years of a disastrous administration. It’s not about who has the best rhetoric, the loudest voice, or the best TV ads. It’s about who we trust to keep their word to fight for conservative principles and grow our movement at the same time,” Palin wrote in an email sent out by Handel’s campaign.
“GOP voters in Georgia have many choices if they want something said, but Karen Handel is the only choice if we want something done. Karen will get the job done.”
Handel is facing a trio of congressmen and a big-spending businessman in her primary, and has struggled with fundraising this election cycle.
Palin endorsed Handel in her run for governor four years ago as well, helping her make the primary runoff against now-Gov. Nathan Deal (R).
Palin has been jumping back into the political fray more in recent days. She also endorsed women running in Iowa’s Senate race and for an open House seat in Florida this week.
