Sen. Mark Pryor (D-Ark.) has a 3-percentage-point lead over Rep. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) in a new poll released by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.
{mosads}Pryor leads Cotton by 48 percent to 45 percent in the poll.
The numbers are the latest sign that Pryor hasn’t withered under a deluge of attacks in the conservative state, and that the race is likely to remain tight.
Partisan polls should always be taken with a grain of salt. But Pryor has led in two other recent polls: A Talk Business-Hendrix College poll out last week found him with the same 3-percentage-point lead, and one from Opinion Research Associates found him leading by 10 points.
The live-caller poll of 600 likely voters was conducted by the Democratic firm Anzalone Liszt Grove Research from March 27 through April 2. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
