The GOP-aligned Crossroads GPS released a new ad on Thursday hitting Sen. Mark Udall (D-Colo.) for his support of ObamaCare.
{mosads}The wife of a small-business owner is featured in the ad, running in Denver and Colorado Springs, telling voters that the Democrat’s vote for ObamaCare has hurt Colorado families and small businesses.
“This is personal,” the woman, Richelle, says. “Policies coming out of Washington really do affect us here at home.”
The woman is from Castle Rock, Colo., between Denver and Colorado Springs. Crossroads GPS is spending $452,000 on the ad, part of its nearly $2.3 million in that state through the end of this month.
The group has repeatedly attacked Udall for voting against the Keystone XL oil pipeline, but this is the first ad from the group hitting his support for ObamaCare.
Udall and Republican challenger Rep. Cory Gardner have battled for the sought-after female voters in their tight contest.
