Rep. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) outraised Sen. Mark Pryor (D-Ark.) in the third quarter and has nearly three times the cash on hand as the incumbent senator for the final weeks of their campaign.
{mosads}Cotton brought in $3.9 million from July through September, more than the $2.2 million Pryor hauled in during the same period.
That leaves Cotton with $2.9 million in the bank, while Pryor has just $1 million for the final weeks after having spent more than $1.5 million more during the quarter than Cotton.
The fundraising numbers are the latest good sign for Cotton, who has led in most public and private polling since the late summer.
