Senate Republicans raise $3.8M in February

The National Republican Senatorial Committee pulled in $3.8 million in February, their strongest February in a non-election year since 2007.

The NRSC increased its cash on hand to $4.3 million as it seeks to build the warchest necessary to protect the five-seat advantage Republicans won in the 2014 elections.

{mosads}The committee has $8 million in debt, down from $10 million at the end of the last month.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee has yet to release its February fundraising numbers. The DSCC outraised the NRSC $4.5 million to $2.5 million last month, with $2.6 million cash on hand at that point.

The DSCC had $15 million in operational debt and $5 million more for the mortgage to buy its office building at the end of January.
