The GOP’s Senate candidate in Nevada is declining to say whether he plans to vote for Donald Trump less than a week before Election Day.

{mosads}Pressed during an interview with KSNV, Rep. Joe Heck said Tuesday that Trump is constitutionally qualified for the presidency but refused to share who he was voting for.

“Well, I can tell you I’m not voting for Hillary Clinton,” he said. “We still have six days before I walk into the booth. On Nov. 8, I’ll have a decision.”

Heck told KSNV that Trump “won our nomination through a very intensive primary process and caucus process, and the Republican voters decided that they wanted him as their nominee.”

“So, I think if you meet the Constitutional qualifications and you’re selected by the Republican Party, then you’re qualified to be president.”

Heck is in a tight race with Democrat Catherine Cortez Masto to replace retiring Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid in one of the only potential Senate seat pickups for Republicans this year.

Heck withdrew his support for Trump in October after a 2005 tape surfaced in which the GOP nominee discusses kissing and groping women without their consent.

He has faced a backlash from Trump supporters, as well as criticism from Democrats for his support of Trump prior to the tape being published.

Cortez Masto hammered Heck at a debate last month for taking so long to revoke his support of Trump, as well as for not backing a 2013 immigration reform bill.

Heck is holding a slim 1-point lead over Cortez Masto with just under a week until Election Day, according to a RealClearPolitics polling average.
