On Sunday night’s episode of “The Simpsons” features a nod to an earlier episode that predicted a Donald Trump presidency.
The opening credits of the episode, the first since Donald Trump was elected, ends as usual with Bart Simpson writing lines on a chalkboard. The ever-changing message says, “Being right sucks.”

{mosads}The internet seized on the opening as a nod to the March 19, 2000, episode titled “Bart to the Future.” It shows Lisa Simpson becoming president after Trump, taking over a bleak America that is bankrupt and crippled by uncontrollable crime.
That episode was was a “vision of America going insane,” according to the writer who created the storyline.
