Fox News host Sean Hannity warned on Twitter Thursday that the end of the Fox News channel could be at hand.
In a tweet responding to a New York Magazine reporter, Hannity warned that rumors of a looming management shake-up could mean the “total end” of Fox News.
Hannity was referring to rumors that Bill Shine, the network’s co-president, is concerned about his future at the network. New York Magazine reported that Shine sought a statement of support from the sons of Rupert Murdoch, Fox’s owner, but was denied.
{mosads}Hannity sent out a subsequent tweet hinting that he knew who at Fox News “is trying to get an innocent person fired.”
Shine has been with Fox News since 1996 and was considered a top ally of ousted CEO Roger Ailes, who was forced out last summer amid sexual harassment claims.
