Moore suggests George Soros is going to hell

Embattled Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore in an interview Monday suggested that Democratic billionaire donor George Soros is going to hell.

“No matter how much money he’s got, he’s still going to the same place that people who don’t recognize God and morality and accept his salvation are going,” Moore, a Christian, told radio host Bryan Fischer in an interview. “And that’s not a good place.”

The Alabama Republican said that Soros has been “trying to alter the voting populace” in the state, but disagreed with the host’s suggestion that Alabama felons would vote for his Democratic opponent Doug Jones, an apparent reference to a Breitbart News story on Soros-backed groups and an organization working to register felons to vote.

“He is pushing an agenda and his agenda is sexual in nature, his agenda is liberal, and not what Americans need,” Moore added of Soros.

Moore is facing allegations of sexual misconduct by seven women, including two women who claim he sexually assaulted them when they were teenagers. The allegations have drawn national attention to the special election in Alabama amid a wave of similar allegations in the media and film industries.

President Trump endorsed Moore on Monday, saying Republicans need to win the Alabama seat.

After the endorsement, the Republican National Committee resumed its work in support of Moore’s campaign.
