Man in prison for death threat to Obama gets additional time for threatening Trump
A man nearing the end of his five-year prison sentence for threatening to kill former President Obama has received additional time for threatening to kill President Trump.
Richard Jeremy Ware, an inmate in Florida, was sentenced to an additional four years and three months on Monday, according to court records first reported by The Associated Press.
{mosads}Ware is serving time for writing a 2011 letter in which he threatened to kill Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama and to sexually assault their daughters. He also threatened to kill the Clinton family and former President George W. Bush.
Ware pleaded guilty in October to making threats against the president after guards intercepted a second letter in which he threatened to kill Trump.
