The progressive Jewish group Bend the Arc Jewish Action PAC has endorsed presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden for president.

“White supremacists in the White House have emboldened the white nationalist movement to organize, propagandize, and violently endanger Jewish, Muslim, Black, Brown, LGBTQ and so many other communities,” said Rabbi Jason Kimelman-Block, Bend the Arc’s Washington director.

The group has been particularly outspoken on issues of white nationalism. In the statement, Kimelman-Block said that in his first term, “Trump and his enablers have implemented the racist policies of white supremacists’ dreams.”

“Bend the Arc Jewish Action PAC is endorsing Joe Biden for President in the same week we remember Heather Heyer, who was murdered by white nationalists three years ago, because we know Biden will make the fight against this dangerous movement a top priority,” he said.

The group’s announcement came hours before the former vice president announced that he had chosen Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) as his running mate. Federal Election Commission filings show Bend the Arc has raised more than $463,000 this cycle.

The group also released a slate of House and Senate endorsements, which include several significant Democratic challengers such as Mark Kelly and Sara Gideon, who are running to unseat Republican Sens. Martha McSally (Ariz.) and Susan Collins (Maine), respectively.
