Not only does Barack Obama fail to practice the “new politics” he preaches, he has shown a tendency to squash dissent, writes Jennifer Rubin, who likens the Democrat to Richard Nixon. If the Los Angeles Times is going to keep a tape showing Obama at a 2003 dinner for a Palestinian scholar under wraps to honor a source, the newspaper should at least give a fuller description of what’s on it, Rubin writes.
