Drudge Report
Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.), the chief of staff for President-elect Obama, is refusing to take questions about the Illinois U.S. Senate seat scandal, notes the front page of the Drudge Report. Drudge also notes that the $14 billion auto bailout bill died in the Senate on Thursday, that Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) warned of riots if the bailout bill was approved and a report in an Israeli newspaper that Obama will offer Israel a “nuclear umbrella” to defend it from attacks.
