Miller, as Stuttaford wonders if the early turnout will have an impact on the election’s outcome. Mark Steyn, meanwhile, suggests Barack Obama may have been cursed by his 15-6 lead in votes in Dixville Notch, N.H., where the nation’s first polls opened at the stroke of midnight. Presidents Nixon, Ford, and H.W. Bush all led there before losing the election on Nov. 4, Steyn notes.
