Kevin Madden, a former aide to failed Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and Minority Leader John Boehner, is now undercutting the vice presidential candidacy of Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska), notes Erick Erickson. Perhaps Madden is doing it because he’s a Washington guy who has forgotten his loyalties, Erickson writes. The assertion that Barack Obama as president will get along wonderfully with world leaders is “nonsensical,” as evidenced by French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s dismissal of Obama’s position on talks with Iran over its nuclear program, writes Pejman Yousefzadeh.
