No one can blame Rep. Tim Mahoney’s (D-Fla.) wife for filing for divorce after he admitted having affairs and then tried to use his “faith and family” for political cover, writes Ed Morrissey. Both Barack Obama and John McCain have proposed tax plans that would lead to a record number of people who didn’t have any income tax liability, writes Morrissey, who suggests that’s a bad idea. Morrissey instead calls for a flat tax to keep capital in U.S. markets.
