With House Republicans trailing their Democratic counterparts by 15 percentage points in the latest Washington Post/ABC generic House ballot, Republicans like Rep. Chris Shays (Conn.) and Mark Kirk (Ill.) who survived in 2006 will be even more hard pressed to win this year, writes Chris Cillizza. Just one of the top 10 seats most likely to flip parties this year is a Democratic one, according to Cillizza’s rankings.
