There’s nothing unusual about Hillary Clinton’s decision to concede Saturday instead of immediately after the final primaries. Other defeated Democratic candidates, including then-Sen. Gary Hart (Colo.), then-Rep. Mo Udall (Ariz.) and Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.), all waited longer after the last contests before dropping out, writes David Greenberg.
