Josh Marshall puts his investigative team onto the case of a mysterious robocall in North Carolina. A non-profit group named Women’s Votes, Women’s Voices has been behind calls placed to North Carolina voters asking them to wait for a vote registration packet that they should eventually sign and send back, reports Paul Kiel. The group appears to be involved in an effort to register unmarried women, but it has done so in a “heavy-handed” way that confused voters in other states, Marshall writes.
