Richelieu writes that he’s not going to “kick Mark Penn now that he’s down,” suggesting that the situation may be more complicated than it appears and that Penn, by having “skin in the game,” was in a tougher place than those on the sidelines. Sonny Bunch eulogizes actor and conservative activist Charlton Heston, who died over the weekend. Heston, Bunch writes, was a champion of civil rights, as he worked with both Martin Luther King Jr. and the National Rifle Association.
