Rubio: Bush didn’t ice me in video

Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush on Wednesday dismissed a video that appeared to show Bush rebuffing Rubio during a commercial break at the fourth GOP presidential debate.

The video shows Rubio meandering over to Bush, who quickly turns his head away. Rubio immediately pivots and walks back toward his lectern next to fellow candidate Donald Trump.

{mosads}”You headed over to Gov. Bush and he just seemed to ice you. What happened there?” George Stephanopoulos asked Rubio on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

“Someone showed me that video last night. It may look that way, but that’s not what happened. We were fine,” the Florida senator responded.

Bush also dismissed the notion that he was brushing off Rubio, saying during another interview Wednesday morning that they had several “cordial” exchanges at the debate.

“We had an exchange at every break,” the former Florida governor said on Fox News’s “America’s Newsroom.”

“Prior to the debate he made fun of my Paleo diet,” Bush said. “I mean, we’re good friends, I admire him. He’s a gifted politician, for sure,” Bush said.

“I just think I have the record to lead our party into the general election to win,” he added.
