Obama: Unlike some leaders, I don’t dye my hair

President Obama joked about his graying hair on Friday when fielding a question about the advice he would give to young people.

“Well, the first thing I want from young people is to stop calling me old,” Obama said to laughter at a university in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.
 
{mosads}”When I came into office I had no gray hair, and now I have a lot.”
 
“I will tell you that I don’t dye my hair, and a lot of my fellow leaders do,” Obama said. “I’m just saying. I won’t say who — but their barbers know, their hairdressers.” 
 
Obama often jokes at fundraisers about his hair, which was black when he entered office in early 2009.
 
After the quip about agin, Obama said at the event that “the most important thing for young people is that they’re not trapped in the past” and open to exploring new ideas.
