Two-party system about who you’re ‘less in hate with,’ say ‘Daily Show’ correspondents
Here the comedians mock the two-party system of government:
“Really when you have two main parties to choose from, it’s not really so much about the candidate you’re in love with, it’s more about the candidate you’re less in hate with,” correspondent Samantha Bee said in the segment.
Watch below as the show’s news team dissects the Republican Party:
“Fiscally they look at the world and say, ‘You know what, I worked really hard — well not me, my grandfather worked really hard — so I earned that money through lineage,’” correspondent Wyatt Cenac said.
And the Democratic Party:
“They say they want to reform schools, they say they want healthcare for all, they say they want to help the poor. What they generally want to do is go to Washington, D.C., parties and Twitter pictures of their junk to each other,” Cenac said.

And here for a look at the Tea Party: A party they say got its name “from a fourth-grader’s understanding of history.”
