Kerry: ‘Inappropriate’ to discuss his JFK assassination theory

John Kerry gave a terse reply on Sunday to “Meet the Press” host David Gregory after the anchor prodded the secretary of State to elaborate on his recent comment that he didn’t believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in assassinating John F. Kennedy.

{mosads}“I just have a point of view and I’m not going to get into that,” Kerry said. “It’s not something that I think needs to be commented on, and certainly not at this time.”

“I’m not going to go into it,” he said after Gregory continued to press. “It’s just inappropriate, and I’m not going to do more than say that it’s a point of view that I have. But it’s not right, or worthy, or appropriate for me to comment further.”

Kerry raised eyebrows in an NBC special on the 50th anniversary of the JFK assassination when he said he has “serious doubts that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone.”

The Warren Commission in 1964 determined that Oswald acted alone.
