Huntsman says he would support Newt if he won the nomination

{mosads}On Monday, the former Utah governor participated in a one-on-one unmoderated debate with front-runner Gingrich, where the two candidates seemed to agree more than disagree.

Asked if he would back real estate mogul Donald Trump if he jumped into the race and won the nomination, however, Huntsman seemed less supportive. 

“That’s a super, super hypothetical,” he said.

Throughout the race Huntsman has skirmished with Trump after the businessman and reality show star accused Huntsman of requesting a sit-down meeting with him which — according to Trump — he declined.

Huntsman has previously said he would not run as an Independent if he failed to secure his party’s nomination, and would back the eventual nominee.
