President Obama and Vice President Biden showed the country how they move by jogging around the White House in suits and ties.
“Mr. President, you ready to move?” Biden asks Obama in a YouTube video released Thursday night.
As part of the fourth anniversary of first lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” campaign, she has encouraged people around the country to show how they exercise through social media.
Last week, she promised to unveil a video showing how Biden and Obama “moved” if enough people participated.
“Absolutely, lets do this thing. Lets move,” Obama tells Biden.
The two go trotting through the West Wing and around the White House before re-entering the Oval Office for a glass of water.
Biden: “Man, you’re hard to keep up with.”
Obama: “You did good out there, but after a good workout, you got to drink up, otherwise we are going to be in trouble with Jill and Michelle.”
Biden: “Just let Michelle know I did drink this.”
Obama: “Same time next week?”
Michelle Obama has been touting her initiative for the past month, appearing on “The Tonight Show” last week when she first teased the Obama-Biden video.
She also appeared on NBC’s “Today” show Friday, explaining to kids it matters how you feel, not how you look.
“We don’t talk about weight,” Obama said of her conversations with her two daughters. “We don’t talk about physical appearance. We talk about health. We talk about what’s on the inside. We spend so much more time talking to our girls about being kind and treating others well, and being passionate and respectful.”
