Vice President Biden is slated to raise money for a trio of Democratic candidates during his trip to the first-in-the-nation presidential primary state on Tuesday, according to the Associated Press.
During a trip to tout job training, Biden will take pictures with campaign donors to benefit the state’s governor Maggie Hassan, as well as Democratic Reps. Ann Kuster and Carol Shea-Porter.
{mosads}Biden has previously said he can see no reason why he should not run for president in 2016.
While in Manchester, Biden said, “I’m here about jobs, not mine,” when asking if he could rule out a run for president, given his presence in the state. Biden was touring XMA corporation, a supplier of microwave parts.
He has said his decision will likely come by summer of next year. Early polling has shown Biden and other potential Democratic candidates trailing far behind former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Last August, Biden had to cancel an appearance at a fundraiser in Maine for Hassan because his son, Beau Biden, was in the hospital. In prior interviews, he has said he has been invited to campaign around the country in more than 128 races.
Biden is scheduled to visit New Hampshire on Tuesday with Labor Secretary Thomas Perez to highlight workforce development and job training. The two will visit the New Hampshire Works Center in Nashua.
The White House notes that the state has one of the “most successful on-the-job training programs in the country.”
