Rep. Slaughter mourns death of husband
Rep. Louise M. Slaughter (D-N.Y.) is mourning the death of her husband of 57 years, who died Tuesday.
Robert Slaughter, 82, died in Washington, D.C., the congresswoman’s office said in a statement.
{mosads}“It gives us great sorrow to share the news that Louise’s husband of 57 years, Robert Slaughter, passed away today in Washington D.C. at the age of 82. Mrs. Slaughter and her family deeply appreciate the thoughts and prayers of the community as they work through this difficult time,” the statement read.
