Rep. Ryan won’t discuss possible VP vetting
Speaking on NBC’s Meet the Press, Ryan responded to a question by moderator David Gregory by stating bluntly “I’m not going to get into the internal processes of another campaign.”
{mosads}Ryan, along with Sens. Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, have been frequently mentioned in political circles as possible running mates for the Massachusetts governor.
For his part, Ryan denied having in interest in the so-called “veepstakes.”
“I’m focused on doing my join as a Wisconsin congressman,” he said, declaring that he wouldn’t engage in “all that speculation.”
