Former Vice President Dick Cheney said on Sunday that he is not weighing in on GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Cheney added that he remains undecided about endorsing Trump or any other Republican White House hopeful next year.

{mosads}“I don’t know the man personally,” he told host Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday” when asked about the outspoken billionaire.

“I’m not getting into the business of getting into a dustup with any of our candidates,” Cheney said.

“I have refrained from judging any of our candidates positively or negatively,” he added.  “I’m not going to judge any of the candidates until we get further down the road.”

Wallace repeatedly asked Cheney for his thoughts on Trump during their exchange on Sunday morning.

Cheney remained silent on the real estate tycoon’s fitness for the Oval Office despite Wallace mentioning Trump’s past criticism of the former vice president.

“Some people said worse things about me,” he quipped when the Fox News broadcaster mentioned Trump’s attacks on Cheney.

Trump is currently the front-runner of the most crowded GOP presidential field in recent memory.

Trump’s vast wealth and bombastic public rhetoric has caused consternation among the Republican establishment, given he lacks political experience.
