President Obama is spending Saturday afternoon teeing off with the hosts of ESPN’s “Pardon the Interruption.”

Sports media personalities Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon, who are regular partners with the president, will also be joined by staffer Joe Paulsen on an overcast day in Washington.

Obama has golfed with the ESPN stars several times in recent years.

Wilson and the president are fellow Chicago sports fans.

And Kornheiser, no stranger to political chatter, drew criticism in the fall for comparing Tea Party conservatives to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

Obama is coming off of an emotional week in which he took executive action closing the gun-show loophole and held a town hall to debate firearms policy.
