Astronaut posts photos of historic storm from space

Those wondering what this weekend’s historic blizzard looks like other than House Speaker Paul Ryan’s livestream have a chance to see it from space. 

Astronaut Scott Kelly tweeted images of the storm blanketing the East Coast early Saturday. 

Winter storm Jonas was “clearly visible” from the International Space Station, Kelly tweeted. 

{mosads}Two to three feet of snow is likely through Sunday in the Washington, D.C., area. Winds could reach up to 60 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
