Fox News accuses Trump campaign of threatening Megyn Kelly
Fox News is firing back at Donald Trump for the Republican presidential front-runner’s decision to skip Thursday night’s debate, accusing Trump’s campaign manager of threatening anchor Megyn Kelly.
“In a call on Saturday with a Fox News executive, [Corey Lewandowski] stated that Megyn had a ‘rough couple of days after that last debate’ and he ‘would hate to have her go through that again,’ ” the Fox News statement said.
“Lewandowski was warned not to level any more threats, but he continued to do so. We can’t give in to terrorizations toward any of our employees.”

{mosads}Earlier Tuesday, Kelly herself hit Trump for calling her a “lightweight” and a “third-rate reporter,” telling the billionaire businessman that he will not convince her to step aside as moderator.
“What’s interesting here is Trump is not used to not controlling things,” Kelly said on tonight’s broadcast of her show, “The Kelly File.”
“The truth is, he doesn’t get to control the media, and while he’s made his position clear about me after that first debate, Roger Ailes made his position clear too: I’ll be there.”
