Comedian Adam Carolla predicted President Trump 8 years ago
Adam Carolla predicted in 2008 that real estate tycoon Donald Trump would become president in 2016, the comedian recalled Thursday on social media.
“He’s gonna be president in eight years, you understand that everybody?” Carolla said on his program in 2008, weighing in on Trump’s remarks at the time about how to become rich.
{mosads}”He’ll be president one day. It’ll be in our lifetime,” Carolla added as co-host Teresa Strasser groaned about the possibility of Trump becoming president.
The radio personality didn’t elaborate about why he thought Trump would become president. He also incorrectly predicted Trump wouldn’t still be married to Melania.
Trump has flirted with running for president since the 1980s, and in 2008 he praised Democrats including Hillary Clinton, who is his chief Democratic rival this year.
He has picked up three consecutive wins heading into Super Tuesday next week, where polls have him dominating rivals Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) and Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.) in several states.
